any migraine sufferer watches this TikTok and right
instead of going like
what what kind of limit is this right
if you watch this and we've been let down so much
so much by conventional medicine
by alternative medicine right
I'm critical of both both industries
migraine sufferers have been let down so much
that they see a clip like this
and they don't say oh my goodness
this has to be a joke this has to be a prank
this has to be a this has to be a oh no
we've been down so much that we see a clip like this
and go hmm
maybe I'll try next time right
do I do I have those clips
remember that
those clips were really popular in the early 2
I still have those in my in my drawer
I have to pull those this is what they've done to us
okay this is ridiculous absolutely ridiculous
so again
I know that chronic migraine sufferers are being driven
this
but you know what are you gonna do
you're walking on target like this
this is not a solution
you don't have migraines
because you don't have pressure on your forehead
seriously I
this is why I do what I do
because this is the level of suffering
that chronic migraine sufferers are going through
without answers without help
and they're being driven to do stuff like this
now is she
is she gonna hurt herself
I mean it seems very pleasant
those little clips right
I just put those little clips on my hair early 2
it hurt right again
like it's sounding the pain of that is
you know it's maybe less
but like this is not sustainable
this is a temporary relief
if you have some you know
with pain definitely if you do some counter
you know counter pain stimulus
yes that can help
I mean in my family
my grandfather his father
I talked about this on the other episode of the podcast
my great grandfather had horrible
horrible chronic migraines
to the point where my grandfather would describe him
when he was a boy his father
my great grandfather would literally
bang his head on the wall of their home
in Burbank Illinois
OK so that's how I got it right
when you got a migraine
you do whatever it takes
and it might be sticking these clips on your forehead
and it might be literally
banging your head on the wall of your home right
so I couldn't be more sympathetic
but my goodness
this is the level and you know what
this was this was in Berlin
this was around you know
my grandfather would have been 10 years old
you know this time
so we were talking you know 1928
so again
have things improved in 100 years
I mean
you're either banging your head on the wall
of your home in Burbank
Illinois or you're putting these clips on your forehead
this is the this is the state of the art
come on people
we deserve more we deserve more than this
and there are real answers to this
is the thing that just breaks my heart for this woman
when we look at the comments
I mean there's a lot of joking comments
but then there's a lot of actual migraine sufferers
in the comments going yeah
you know maybe I'll try
let me give this a shot right
my ice pack isn't cutting it anymore right
so really
this is what you know
motivates me to continue to do this podcast
to do the work I do because 100 years
we're still banging our heads against the wall
it's not right because there are real answers
I'm looking for this my clients are looking for this
so

we're not people that have to do these bizarre things
right what kind of
what's going on here
so we have to do this was a metal mystery
what's going on that's not us OK
that's not me and that's not you
so we gotta stop this we gotta stop this
we gotta get real answers to deal with the migraines
and that's why I get everyday
